the_tell v0.1.0 — the first case file goes public

the_tell v0.1.0 · 2026-06-08 · The interrogation room opens. ◆ Unscripted interrogation — question the suspects yourself No menus, no canned lines. Ask anything and the suspect answers — and slips. Replies land like they're being typed in front of you, and you can confront a suspect with another's story to crack the contradictions. One question, one turn. Spend them well. ◆ A new case file every day A fresh case daily — suspect count and turn limits shift from one to the next. A tutorial case plus a three-step onboarding coach drops you into your first interrogation with no manual to read. Browse the case list, open a dossier (roster, ratings, your record), and step in. ◆ Stuck? Search the scene Examine objects at the scene to surface hidden clues. Each search costs a turn — but going back over something you've already searched is free. Walk away and come back, and your search history is right where you left it. ◆ Name the killer, face the verdict, replay the case You have to question every suspect at least once before the accusation opens. Make the call and you get the verdict stamp, a full case replay, and your hit rate. "Reveal the answer" is one-way — there's a confirmation gate before you cross that line. Walk away with a shareable result card. ◆ Rankings, reviews, badges — the record of everyone who closed the case Fewest-turns leaderboard with your standing on it. Reviews with ratings, spoilers blurred, and a gate so only those who've earned it can post. Nine badges to earn. ◆ Your profile — the streaks add up Play history, resume-in-progress, badges, and settings, all in one place. Your answer streak and best record carry over for good. Pick up a case you left cold. A public board to tell us what's working. ◆ Steady on any screen, any device Built to hold its shape from desktop to foldable to iPhone on real hardware — screen width, keyboard zoom, auto-scroll, touch targets, all handled. Color contrast and screen-reader support to standard, English and Korean from the ground up, and quiet recovery after a deploy or an expired session. The case files are open. Start with the first one.
