The Inherited Name
On an early winter night, Arima Soji, auditor of the Sakamine Private Taxi Cooperative, was found collapsed at the bottom of a maintenance pit in the cooperative's shared garage. Though no fire had been lit anywhere in the garage, his body was saturated with carbon monoxide, and the shutter had been down all night. Round up the five who left their names at the garage that night. Whether to write it off as an accident—that's a decision for later.
