No Exception

In the middle of the North Sea stands an oil production platform that never stops running. On this steel island where a hundred souls are locked in for two-week shifts, pipe maintenance foreman Vidar Grimstad complained of stomach pain, lay in the infirmary bed for two days, was finally airlifted out, and died on the operating table at a mainland hospital. What had ruptured inside him had already spread throughout his body. During those two days the sky was clear and the regular helicopters flew twice daily. The sky was not what was blocked. Ask what closed that route during those two days.
