Notice Without Continuity

Ju Gap-seon (66), who lived alone on a ventilator due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis—a disease where the nerves controlling muscles die until even the strength to breathe is lost—was found dead at home with his respirator stopped. Days before his death, his medical assistance benefits, a program where the state covers medical expenses for those in financial hardship, were cut off entirely. Equipment rental, consumables, and personal care assistance for those unable to live alone—all terminated. The cause of death was airway obstruction, where the breathing passage is blocked and air cannot flow, after respiratory support was severed. Respiratory failure from insufficient oxygen due to inability to breathe properly was also cited as a cause of death. Interrogate the five people entangled in the place where support was cut off, and determine whose hand hastened this death divided by a single sheet of paper.
