What Was Washed Away

Late summer evening after the rainy season ended, humidity still clinging to the air. The Danha Chemical Incident Recovery Support Center was running its usual evening programs. In the annex washroom of the program building, Park Ha-min (31), a new contract worker assigned to routine disinfection, was found collapsed inside a sealed booth. He died of acute respiratory failure caused by inhaling high-concentration chlorine vapor—chemical pulmonary edema that drowned his lungs from the inside. Entering the booth to wash himself appeared nowhere in his work orders, and the wash line feeding the booth had been opened without passing through the dilution stage. That evening, five people were entangled with this death. Interrogate them and find the hand that sent him into that booth.
