Five arcs. Each thread begins and ends inside its own arc card. Think of it less as one season cut into five, and more as five self-contained case files bundled under one season — no need to open them in order, and no need to buy all five. The five cases inside an arc share one suspect pool and one scene, running as a single story from start to finish, with the knot untied in the arc's final case. Each card shows ownership status and the price left to pay, so owned and unowned arcs are told apart at a glance. Partial ownership shows the price to fill in only what's left.
